Resum: Aquest article analitza els verbs semblar(-se), ressemblar i assemblar(-se) en els diccionaris institucionals de l’IEC i de l’AVL. La informació que podem obtenir d’aquests diccionaris posa de manifest que hi ha diferències en la descripció semàntica dels verbs. Cada obra descriu i jerarquitza les remissions en atenció als usuaris més pròxims i en algun cas n’hi ha que exclou solucions històriques. Amb l’objectiu d’obtenir una informació més profunda d’ aquests verbs, estudiem quins són els seus usos semàntics i sintàctics en català antic. Names of Snakes in Latvian Texts of the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries This article analyses the naming of snakes in sixteenth- and seventeenth-century Latvian texts which are taken from the Corpus of Early Written Latvian Texts, containing the first Latvian dictionaries, religious texts, and some secular texts. The objective of the paper is to try to determine how precisely the translators of religious texts rendered names of snakes, and to ascertain whether any semantic changes have taken place, or whether religious texts show specific use. This paper sets out to analyse the development of demonstrative adverbs of place in Catalan and Spanish. The process of grammaticalization of Catalan modal verbs deure, haver and tenir involves a semantic change, a rise of new meanings and an increase in their semantic network. On the one hand, deontic modal verbs develop inferential evidential meanings, and, on the other, future meanings (posteriority).This corpus-based study focuses on the rise of future meanings of modal verb deure ('must') (between the 12th and the 16th centuries).
